What You’ll Do
This entry-level Commercial Banking Specialist role supports day-to-day banking and financial operations. You will process and review transactions, investigate account and payment issues, and help maintain accurate financial records while following established banking policies and controls.
- Process, review, and maintain banking and financial transactions accurately and efficiently
- Research account, payment, and transaction-related issues and assist with resolution
- Review financial documents, account information, and supporting documentation
- Perform data entry, reconciliation, and quality checks with high attention to detail
- Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding account and transaction information
- Assist with reporting, documentation, and routine financial operations tasks
- Follow established policies, procedures, controls, and regulatory requirements
- Identify discrepancies and escalate complex issues to the appropriate team members
- Learn and use banking systems, financial technology, and automation tools
- Maintain confidentiality and protect sensitive financial information
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Business Administration, Banking, MIS, Data Analytics, or a related field
- Recent graduates and candidates with 0–2 years of experience are encouraged to apply
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational abilities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Basic understanding of financial concepts and business processes
- Comfortable working with MS Excel and common computer-based applications
- Ability to learn new financial systems and technologies quickly
