Confidential Client is hiring a Commercial Associate to join a Global Commercial Banking team focused on middle‑market healthcare (Transformative Healthcare). This role is based in Nashville, TN and develops foundational commercial banking skills including financial analysis, market research, client support, and execution support for banking and capital-markets opportunities.

What You’ll Do

This role supports client coverage and transaction activity by delivering data-driven insights, industry research, and client materials. Responsibilities include:

• Support analysis of market and industry data to surface insights for client/prospect meetings, pitchbooks, and relationship reviews.
• Prepare and refine client presentations and pitch materials in collaboration with Market Executives and Relationship Managers.
• Observe and support credit approval and treasury solutions workflows to learn product packaging and approval requirements.
• Coordinate internally across product and deal teams during transaction execution.
• Support delivery of new-business analytics, monitor client activity, and help identify portfolio optimization and cross-sell opportunities.
• Interpret financial and cash-flow statements to assess company performance and industry trends.
• Work with domestic and international teammates (Investment Banking, FX, Wealth Management) and partner with Product Specialists (Credit, Treasury Management, Merchant Services) to help design client solutions.

Qualifications

Required

• Minimum of two years of professional or business experience.
• Analytical mindset with exposure to financial modeling and financial statement analysis.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office — Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively within teams.
• Ability to think critically and work independently when needed.

Desired

• Prior internship or entry-level experience in financial services.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
