Responsibilities

This role supports commercial banking teams by delivering analytical research and data-driven insights for client and prospect engagements. Typical day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Supports analysis of market and industry data to generate insights for client/prospect meetings, pitchbooks, and relationship reviews
  • Collaborates with Market Executives, Relationship Managers, and partners across product teams to prepare client presentations and support transactions
  • Observes and supports credit approval and treasury solutions processes to learn product packaging and approval requirements
  • Coordinates with internal product and deal teams throughout transaction lifecycles
  • Delivers new-business analytics, monitors client activity, and helps optimize portfolios to identify cross-sell and expansion opportunities
  • Interprets financial and cash-flow statements to assess company and industry financial health
  • Works with domestic and international teammates (e.g., Investment Banking, FX, Wealth Management) and facilitates relationships with Product Specialists in Credit, Treasury Management, and Merchant Services

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of two years of professional or business experience
  • Demonstrated analytical thinking and financial modeling ability
  • Strong critical thinking and ability to work independently
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively in team settings
  • Ability to understand and interpret corporate financial statements

Desired Qualifications

  • Internship or prior entry-level role in financial services
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, or equivalent work experience

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary: $85,000 — $125,000 per year (offers determined by experience, education, and skill set)
  • Employment type: Full time (Contract)
  • Hours: 40 hours per week; 1st shift
  • Location (onsite expectations): Seattle, WA — 401 Union St - Rainier Square (WA1510)
  • Discretionary incentive eligibility (annual awards based on individual and business performance)
