What You’ll Do

This Commercial Associate role supports middle-market client coverage teams and helps drive business development through data-driven insights, financial analysis and strong partner coordination. You will work closely with relationship teams and product specialists to prepare client materials, support transactions, and help expand client relationships.

• Support analysis of market and industry data to generate insights for client and prospect meetings, pitchbooks, and relationship reviews
• Collaborate with Market Executives, Relationship Managers, and cross-functional partners to prepare client presentations and support deals
• Observe and assist the credit approval and treasury-solutions processes to build knowledge of products, packaging and approval requirements
• Coordinate clients, prospects and product teams during transactions and engagements
• Deliver new-business analytics, monitor client activity, and perform portfolio optimization to identify growth opportunities
• Read and interpret financial and cash-flow statements to assess company financial condition and industry trends
• Partner with domestic and international teammates (investment banking, FX, wealth) and facilitate relationships with Product Specialists in credit, treasury management and merchant services
• Leverage data and visualization to tell story-driven insights for client meetings and internal idea generation

Qualifications

Minimum requirements to be considered for this role:

• Minimum of two years of professional or business experience
• Strong analytical thinking and financial modeling fundamentals
• Proven verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within teams
• Ability to interpret corporate financial statements

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior internship or entry-level experience in financial services
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
