Position Overview

The Confidential Client is hiring a Commercial Associate to join the Global Commercial Banking (GCB) Healthcare, Technology & Sponsors (HTS) team with a focus on Technology. This role delivers data-driven research and industry insights to support client and prospect engagement, helps prepare pitchbooks and relationship reviews, and coordinates with product and deal teams to support transaction execution and client solutions.

What You’ll Do

• Support analysis of market and industry data to uncover insights for client/prospect meetings, pitchbooks, and relationship reviews
• Collaborate with Market Executives, Relationship Managers, and cross-bank partners to prepare client presentations and support deals
• Observe and support credit approval and treasury solutions processes to build knowledge of products, services, and packaging requirements
• Coordinate clients/prospects and product/deal teams through the lifecycle of transactions
• Deliver new business analytics, monitor client activities, and perform portfolio optimization to identify expansion opportunities
• Interpret financial and cash flow statements to assess company financial conditions and industry trends
• Partner with domestic and international teammates (Investment Banking, FX, Wealth Management) and Product Specialists (Credit, Treasury Management, Merchant Services) to design and deliver financial solutions
• Leverage data visualization and storytelling to strengthen client engagement and support internal idea generation

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of professional or business experience
• Strong analytical thinking and financial modeling ability
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Experience understanding and interpreting corporate financial statements

• Internship or prior entry-level experience in financial services
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
