Position overview

Confidential Client is seeking a Commercial Associate to support a Commercial Real Estate team in Dallas, TX. This role is ideal for a candidate with 2+ years of professional experience who wants to develop financial analysis, market research, and client-relationship skills supporting commercial real estate lending and financing solutions. The role includes exposure to underwriting, credit and treasury product teams, and cross-functional collaboration with investment banking and wealth teams.

What You’ll Do

• Support analysis of market and industry data to generate insights for client/prospect meetings, pitch books, and relationship reviews
• Prepare client presentations, pitch materials, and relationship reviews in collaboration with Market Executives and Relationship Managers
• Assist with credit approval and treasury solutions workflows to learn product packaging and approval requirements
• Coordinate internal partners from product and deal teams during transactions
• Produce new-business analytics, monitor client activity, and support portfolio optimization efforts
• Interpret financial and cash flow statements to assess company financial conditions and industry trends
• Observe and support engagement with domestic and international teammates (Investment Banking, FX, Wealth Management) and Product Specialists (Credit, Treasury Management, Merchant Services)

Required qualifications

• Minimum of two years of professional or business experience
• Strong analytical thinking and basic financial modeling skills
• Ability to work independently and think critically
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team
• Ability to read and interpret corporate financial statements
