Role overview
Confidential Client’s Sports Finance & Advisory team (within Commercial Banking) is hiring a Commercial Associate to support client coverage, market analysis, and transaction execution. This role delivers data-driven insights, builds pitch materials, and helps coordinate cross-functional teams to design financing and advisory solutions for sports-related organizations and their partners.
What You’ll Do
- Support analysis of market, industry and client data to develop insights for meetings, pitchbooks and relationship reviews.
- Prepare presentations, pitch materials and client deliverables in collaboration with Relationship Managers, Group Head and Market Executive.
- Build and maintain financial models and perform company and industry financial analysis.
- Observe and assist with credit approval, treasury, and product packaging to understand solution design and underwriting needs.
- Coordinate internal product and deal teams during transactions and support execution tasks.
- Monitor client activity, produce new-business analytics, and identify opportunities for portfolio optimization and cross-sell.
- Work with domestic and international teammates including Investment Banking, FX, Wealth Management and Product Specialists to align solutions to client needs.
Required qualifications
- Minimum of two years of professional or business experience.
- Highly proficient financial modeling skills.
- Strong ability to analyze and interpret corporate financial statements and cash flow.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills and ability to work proactively and independently.
- Effective interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate in a team environment.
Desired qualifications
- Prior internship or entry-level experience in financial services.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field.
Work expectations & schedule
- This is a deadline-driven role supporting evolving priorities; occasional extended availability or travel may be required.
- Shift: 1st shift. Hours per week: 40.
- This position may be filled at the Commercial Associate or Senior Commercial Associate level depending on experience.
