What You’ll Do

You will support the Confidential Client’s maintenance operations by building, validating, and optimizing CMMS master data (SAP S/4HANA) to improve maintenance execution, visibility, and KPIs. Work closely with maintenance, planning, and technical teams to translate asset strategies into reliable SAP master data and deploy repeatable upload/validation processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and maintain CMMS master data for Plant Maintenance (PM) — equipment master, functional locations, task lists, maintenance plans, components, and inspection characteristics.
• Create, validate and optimize PM plans and task lists; identify components for linking to tasks.
• Build and maintain upload templates; perform data uploads and follow-up validation in SAP S/4HANA.
• Lead or support maintenance strategy workshops with stakeholders; translate strategy outputs into master-data deliverables.
• Partner with planning/scheduling teams to ensure work order data supports execution and reporting.
• Analyze existing PM master data to identify gaps and opportunities to improve execution, KPI dashboards, and data-driven decisions.
• Coach and review deliverables from other contributors; support continuous process improvement for maintenance effectiveness.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or equivalent technical degree.
• Hands-on experience with CMMS master data management for plant maintenance.
• Practical experience working with SAP S/4HANA PM module and related transaction codes.
• Proven ability to create and maintain upload templates and perform master-data uploads.
• Strong data analysis skills and comfort using Excel to validate and cleanse master data.
• Experience interfacing with cross-functional technical groups (maintenance, planning, reliability).

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in Oil and Gas maintenance environments or heavy industry.
• Demonstrated success translating equipment maintenance strategies into SAP PM master data.
• Experience improving PM structure, work management processes, and KPI dashboards.

Skills & Tools

• SAP S/4HANA — PM master data (equipment, functional locations, task lists, plans, components)
• Microsoft Excel (advanced functions for data validation and templates)
• Familiarity with PM work management processes and inspection characteristics
• Strong communication and stakeholder facilitation skills
