What You’ll Do
Confidential Client’s 40|86 Advisors team is hiring an entry-level CLO Portfolio Analyst to support leveraged loan and CLO portfolio oversight. This role will focus on investor reporting, compliance monitoring, and analytical model development to support portfolio and risk management.
- Ensure monthly and quarterly investor reports are accurate and distributed on time
- Monitor compliance with indenture/structural requirements and flag tests at risk of failure
- Develop and maintain risk and analytical models to identify market dislocations and opportunities
- Support AVP/VP of Leveraged Loans with portfolio optimization strategies
- Coordinate with traders, trustees, and operations to determine daily investable cash and trade mechanics
- Contribute to credit research and structured credit analysis as you learn the investment process
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or another analytical major
- 0–1 years of relevant experience (internships and recent graduates encouraged)
- Proficiency in Excel, VBA and Python (required)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated interest in financial markets; eager to learn, ask questions, and accept feedback
- Must be authorized to work in the United States (this role is not eligible for visa sponsorship)
Preferred
- Portfolio of VBA or Python projects available for review
- Interest in pursuing CFA designation or other relevant certifications
Compensation & Benefits
The posted pay range reflects a national-average location and actual pay will be set based on experience, skills, and location.
- Pay range: $81,000 — $121,600 annual

Location & Work Requirements
- This role is affiliated with the Carmel, IN corporate office and requires on-site work. Candidates must reside within a 60-mile radius of the Carmel, IN office and will be required to come into the office regularly.
- Travel to other corporate offices may be requested periodically.
- Work must be performed from within the United States.
