Position Overview
This opportunity is for a Clinical Research Recruitment Specialist supporting our client’s Clinical Research Recruitment Program. The role focuses on study recruitment support, participant-facing communications, social media campaigns, community engagement, and administrative tracking of recruitment metrics. This is a hybrid position based in Centennial, CO (on-campus ~3 days/week).
Key Responsibilities
- Provide guidance and hands-on support to study teams for creating and updating participant-facing study webpages to meet content, readability, and regulatory expectations.
- Write, edit, and translate complex research concepts into clear, participant-friendly language for webpages, flyers, newsletters, and recruitment scripts.
- Review social media campaign submissions, schedule intake meetings, assist with ad creation, and follow up with teams to confirm campaign parameters and collect enrollment metrics.
- Research and outreach to community-based organizations, nonprofits, and advocacy groups to build partnerships that improve access to clinical research in underserved Colorado communities.
- Represent the program at health fairs and community events and help identify appropriate events to attend.
- Triage consultation requests, support pre- and post-consultation preparation, and help facilitate recruitment consultations with study teams.
- Curate content for internal communications including a Study Spotlight newsletter and other program materials.
- Maintain and analyze recruitment program metrics and support researcher access to community volunteer registries (e.g., ResearchMatch).
- Keep current on recruitment best practices, novel engagement strategies, and plain-language communications principles.
- Support educational events, presentations, and other program projects as assigned by the Program Manager.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution OR a combination of education and related technical/paraprofessional experience on a year-for-year basis.
- Entry-level: bachelor’s degree (or equivalent). Professional level: bachelor’s degree plus 1 year relevant professional experience in clinical research, public health, education, communications, or a related field.
- Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Canva or similar design tools.
- Familiarity with OnCore or other Clinical Trial Management Systems.
- Experience applying Federal Plain Language Guidelines or NIH plain-language resources.
- Experience with Smartsheet or comparable project tracking tools.
- Bilingual/bicultural in Spanish and English is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in community outreach, communications, or recruitment operations.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong ability to translate technical research into clear participant-facing language.
- Strong customer-service orientation and ability to establish effective working relationships across teams.
- Ability to manage and prioritize a high-volume workload with attention to accuracy and deadlines.
- Proactive, independent worker who asks clarifying questions and delivers high-quality work with minimal oversight.
- Ability to coordinate multiple tasks with competing priorities and adapt to changing needs.
Work Location & Schedule
- Hybrid role based in Centennial, CO — typically 3 days per week on campus with flexibility for meetings and outreach events.
- May require occasional travel to community events, health fairs, or partner sites across Colorado.
Compensation & Benefits
- Hiring range (provided by the client):
- Entry: $46,116 - $61,795 per year
- Intermediate: $50,185 - $67,248 per year
