What You’ll Do
As a Clinical Physical Therapist with our confidential client in La Cienga, NM you will deliver patient-centered physical therapy services across the care continuum. You will assess patients, develop measurable treatment plans, implement interventions, coordinate discharge, and participate in departmental improvement and training activities.
- Perform comprehensive diagnostic evaluations for inpatients and outpatients, accounting for diagnoses and age-specific needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with measurable goals and patient/family involvement
- Document initial evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries according to policy and regulatory requirements
- Participate in care conferences, family education, and interdisciplinary team meetings
- Provide patient, family, and caregiver education and complete timely discharge planning
- Supervise and coordinate physical therapy student programs and assist with volunteer/staff oversight when needed
- Assist with orientation of new staff, scheduling, and maintaining quality patient coverage
- Support performance improvement activities and help maintain departmental productivity standards
- Foster professional relationships with medical staff, physicians, and referral sources
Qualifications
- Degree: Bachelor’s, Master’s, or entry-level Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Licensure: Licensed Physical Therapist in New Mexico, or eligible to obtain New Mexico licensure prior to hire
- Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) required
- Experience: Entry level acceptable — new graduates are encouraged to apply
- Skills: Strong patient assessment, treatment planning, documentation, communication, and ability to work in interdisciplinary teams

Compensation
- Estimated salary (from source data): $100,659 per year — estimated
