Position overview

Confidential Client is hiring a Clinical Laboratory Technician to join a high-volume neuroimmunology laboratory focused on autoimmune serology testing. This role performs high-complexity testing on serum and spinal fluid using both automated and manual methods, supports laboratory automation initiatives, and helps maintain rapid, accurate turnaround in a regulated clinical environment.

What you’ll do

• Perform clinical testing on serum and cerebrospinal fluid to support diagnosis of autoimmune disorders affecting the brain, nerves, and muscles.
• Run immunology and serology assays, including tissue- and cell-based fluorescence microscopy, radioimmunoassays, flow cytometry, western blot, ELISA, and chemiluminescence assays.
• Operate, monitor, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments and automation systems.
• Execute both automated and manual test procedures following established protocols and quality standards.
• Accurately process, label, track, and prepare specimens for analysis.
• Apply basic chemistry and biology knowledge to interpret procedures and support technical troubleshooting.
• Maintain clear documentation of test results, instrument logs, and quality-control activities.
• Collaborate with colleagues to support continuous improvement, high throughput, and reliable turnaround times.
• Support implementation and optimization of new automation lines and laboratory technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a human biological science such as Biology, Chemistry, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Neuroscience, or a closely related field.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume laboratory and follow complex protocols.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.

Compensation & benefits

• Pay range: $23.00 - $24.00 per hour. Final pay within this range will depend on qualifications, experience, and other job-related factors.
