Responsibilities

Confidential Client is hiring an entry-level Clinical Lab Technician to support molecular diagnostic testing workflows. The role follows established protocols and assists licensed laboratory staff with specimen processing, inventory, and basic instrument care.

• Support diagnostic testing on patient specimens using molecular assays and platforms
• Identify, prioritize, and prepare clinical samples while ensuring viability and integrity
• Monitor and maintain consumable inventory (reagents, plates, tubes, supplies) for assigned workstations
• Prepare and label tubes and plates per SOPs and established protocols
• Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance of laboratory equipment under supervision
• Document work clearly following quality assurance and quality control practices

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Biological Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology, or a closely related field
• Understanding of aseptic technique and proper specimen handling
• Familiarity with SOPs, QA/QC standards, and laboratory documentation practices
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
• Ability to pass a standardized color vision test
• Strong organizational skills and clear verbal/written communication

Compensation

• $28.39 - $35.00 per hour
