What You’ll Do
Confidential Client is hiring an entry-level Client Accounting Analyst to support client accounting, billing and collections activities. This is a hybrid role based in Ny State Campus, NY and ideal for recent college graduates or candidates with internship experience who want to build a career in client accounting within the Accounting & Finance industry.
- Perform client accounting, billing and collection activities for assigned clients
- Monitor and manage outstanding accounts receivable, unapplied funds and collection efforts
- Generate and review proformas for assigned partners at the beginning of each month
- Handle time/cost transfers and investigate correct billing allocation
- Prepare electronic invoices in LEDES and submit via client-designated electronic billing systems
- Provide responsive support to partners and clients on billing and account questions
What We’re Looking For
You’ll be a strong fit if you have a bachelor’s degree and relevant internship or early-career accounting experience. We value team players who work well with partners and clients and who can manage shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Political Science, or a related field
- ~6 months of relevant internship or work experience (entry-level/new grad candidates encouraged)
- Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work both independently and within a team
- Comfortable adapting to new assignments and deadlines in a demanding environment
- Proficient with MS Office, especially Word and Excel
- Experience or familiarity with LEDES invoicing, billing systems, or account reconciliations is a plus
Compensation & Benefits
- Base pay up to $75,000 per year (comp package describes base to $75K)
- Paid overtime where applicable
