What You’ll Do

• Execute operational clearance and settlement processes using documented procedures and job aides; learn and master core workflows.
• Own assigned workload and ensure deliverables meet procedures, metrics and critical timeframes.
• Perform trade capture, comparison, netting and settlement activities for equity and fixed-income instruments as required by the team.
• Monitor daily exception queues and investigate discrepancies to resolution or appropriately escalate.
• Apply risk and control practices in day-to-day tasks to identify, report and mitigate operational risks.
• Respond to internal and external client inquiries promptly and accurately; build strong working relationships with stakeholders to resolve issues and improve processes.
• Support business resiliency, continuity planning, and incident-response activities (including cyber-event preparedness).
• Participate in process improvement initiatives and share feedback to strengthen operational controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Entry-level role; internship or relevant operational experience is highly preferred.
• Comfortable working in a structured, rule-driven operational environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness.

Work Model, Location & Compensation

• Location: Tampa, FL (onsite/hybrid)
• Work model: Confidential Client supports a flexible/hybrid model (typically 3 days onsite and 2 days remote; team-specific schedules may vary).
• Employment type: Contract — Full time.
• Estimated pay (from source): $118,041 per year — estimated. Actual compensation will be determined by the client based on role, experience, and location.

About the Team / Organization

The role sits within Global Business Operations and supports post-trade operations across depository and clearing services. Teams manage trade capture, comparison, netting and settlement workflows across multiple product lines and are responsible for operational resilience, default/liquidity management support, and continuous improvement of post-trade processing. You’ll be joining a mission-driven operations team serving critical market infrastructure functions.
