Program overview
Confidential Client is hiring entry-level candidates for a structured, two-year Clean Energy Rotation Program based in Princeton, NJ (hybrid). This full-time program includes three eight-month rotations across core functions so early-career professionals can see the full clean energy value chain before choosing a permanent career path.
- Rotations: Development, Engineering & Construction, and Finance & Asset Management
- Structured mentorship and executive visibility

What you will do
- Contribute as a full team member in each rotation with real deliverables and ownership from week one
- Support active projects through analysis, financial and technical modeling, permits and applications, technical reviews and site visits
- Present work and learnings to senior leadership at the end of each rotation
- Work with experienced developers, engineers and financiers with a dedicated mentor throughout the program
- Build cross-functional fluency that accelerates career progression in clean energy
What we are looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, environmental science, economics, finance, business, or a related field
- Demonstrated interest in clean energy and grid decarbonization
- Strong analytical skills and comfort with data, spreadsheets and learning new tools
- Clear written and verbal communication; confidence to work across multiple teams
- Adaptability to move between three different teams and steep learning curves
- Authorization to work in the United States
- No prior energy experience required — internships, campus projects or research that show initiative are a plus. We hire for aptitude and attitude.
Compensation & benefits
- Base salary: $80,000 - $100,000, depending on experience
- Hybrid work from the Princeton, NJ office
