What You’ll Do

This is an entry-level Claims Service role supporting auto claims operations for a confidential client. You will handle lower-complexity material-damage, property, and liability claims under established technical and customer-service best practices and within defined authority limits.

• Communicate clearly with insureds, claimants and witnesses — explain coverages, benefits, fault and the claims process (verbal and written).
• Conduct phone and occasional field investigations to gather facts and witness statements.
• Evaluate claim information (property, medical, liability) and determine claim values.
• Negotiate settlements within delegated authority to resolve first- and third-party claims.
• Document and update claim files and production reports in company systems (moderate computer use).
• Verify coverage and determine policy applicability; coordinate with internal and external teams as needed.
• Identify cross-sell or referral opportunities and provide qualified leads to other departments.
• Exercise independent analysis to separate allegations from facts and resolve exposures within authority.
• Respond promptly to customer needs and deliver excellent member experience.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Entry-level — less than 1 year of prior claims experience required.
• Moderate computer literacy and ability to learn claims systems.
• General understanding of negligence principles is desirable.
• Strong organization, planning, written and oral communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a customer-service mindset.
• Ability to work under moderate supervision within defined authority limits.

Compensation

• Estimated base pay: $54,220 per year (estimated). Exact pay may vary based on experience and qualifications and will be confirmed by the hiring organization.
