Overview

Confidential Client is hiring an entry-level Claims Representative (IAP) to join a structured Workers' Compensation training program in Roseville, CA. This is an onsite, full-time role that begins with a 4-week concept-based classroom training and dedicated onboarding, followed by on-the-job mentoring. The program is designed to prepare new claims professionals for growing careers in claims adjusting and claims administration.

What You’ll Do

  • Complete the designated claims professional training program and onboarding.
  • Learn to adjust workers' compensation claims under close supervision.
  • Process and respond to incoming mail, emails and documents according to claim status.
  • Communicate professionally with injured workers, employers, medical providers, attorneys, and carrier representatives via phone, video, and email.
  • Gather and review medical records, employer reports, witness statements and other evidence.
  • Investigate employer/employee relationships, verify policies/coverage, and identify potential subrogation or fraud indicators.
  • Determine coverage, compensability and appropriate benefits per jurisdictional rules and client program guidelines.
  • Document claims thoroughly, code activity correctly and prepare clear reports with findings and recommendations.
  • Administer indemnity and medical benefits and maintain calendared claim-related actions to ensure compliance with state rules.
  • Participate in virtual/in-person meetings, claim reviews, and training sessions.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Around 2 years customer service experience preferred, or a combination of education and relevant experience.

Compensation & Benefits

As required by law, Confidential Client provides a reasonable range of compensation where pay transparency applies. For the jurisdiction noted in this posting (California), the stated starting pay for this role is $27.69/hr. A comprehensive benefits package is offered and may include:
