What You’ll Do

This entry-level Claims Representative role supports claim handling across the life cycle — investigation, evaluation and resolution — while participating in a structured training program. You will work under close supervision to ensure timely, accurate claim outcomes and strong service to agents, insureds and other stakeholders.

• Investigate, evaluate, and settle entry-level insurance claims
• Learn policy language, endorsements and forms to build product knowledge
• Follow company claim handling procedures and compliance requirements
• Develop negotiation and settlement skills for routine claims
• Communicate with claimants, agents, legal counsel and third parties
• Use designated loss-adjustment software and estimating tools
• Pursue and maintain adjuster license(s) per state requirements and company timeline

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in property/casualty claims handling
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task and prioritize
• Clear written and verbal communication; ability to prepare reports and correspondence
• Problem-solving skills and an aptitude for resolving complex issues
• Respect for confidentiality and data security practices
• Comfortable working with diverse groups of people
• Basic math competency, including geometry (area/volume) and financial calculations
• Valid driver’s license and driving record that meet company underwriting guidelines (if driving is required)
• Willingness to participate in ongoing training and professional development

Preferred Skills

• Experience with property & casualty claims or related insurance functions
• Familiarity with claims estimating tools or claims management systems
• Prior customer service experience in a regulated environment
• Interest in obtaining adjuster licensing where required
