What You’ll Do
This entry-level Claims Representative role supports commercial auto claims handling at our client’s Stevens Point, WI office (hybrid; NOT remote). You’ll learn and apply fundamental claims processes while developing investigative judgment and strong customer service skills.
- Gain knowledge to verify coverage, compensability, and reasonable payments by thoroughly reviewing policies, accident details, and other claim documentation.
- Develop investigative skills: collect and review recorded statements, analyze police reports, and evaluate other supporting evidence.
- Evaluate exposure and establish timely reserves in accordance with guidelines.
- Document decisions, correspondence, and claim activities to meet regulatory, legal, and internal policy requirements.
- Communicate empathetically and clearly with policyholders, claimants, and third parties to explain processes, status, and claim decisions.
- Obtain and maintain any required state insurance licensing.

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- Previous insurance-related and/or customer-service experience preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Effective time-management and organizational skills.
- Comfortable with technology and willing to learn claims systems.
- Ability to travel as needed to meet job responsibilities.
- Ability to obtain and maintain state licensing as required.
