What You’ll Do
Confidential Client is hiring an entry-level Claims Representative to join a workers’ compensation training program. This role begins with a paid, concept-based 4‑week training course followed by structured onboarding and on-the-job mentorship. You will learn to investigate, document, and manage workers’ compensation claims while receiving ongoing coaching and opportunities for advancement.
- Attend and successfully complete the designated 4-week claims professional training program
- Work under close supervision to adjust various levels of workers’ compensation claims
- Process and respond to mail, emails, and claim‑related documents according to claim status
- Communicate with injured workers, employers/insureds, medical providers, attorneys, and carrier representatives via phone, video, and email
- Gather and review medical records, employer reports, witness statements, and other evidence to evaluate claims
- Verify policy coverage, investigate employer/employee relationships, and flag potential subrogation or fraud indicators
- Determine coverage, compensability, and appropriate benefits per jurisdictional guidelines
- Document claim activity, code files correctly, and prepare clear reports with findings and recommendations
- Administer indemnity and medical benefits by maintaining calendared action items and ensuring state compliance
- Participate in virtual and in-person meetings, claim reviews, and training sessions as required

Compensation & Benefits
As required by law, Confidential Client provides a reasonable range of compensation where pay‑transparency laws apply. For the jurisdiction noted in this posting (Carson City, NV), the stated starting pay is $25.65 per hour. A representative estimated annual salary for this role is approximately $68,260 (estimate). Actual pay is influenced by experience, skillset, and location.
