What You’ll Do
As an Entry-Level Claims Representative for our Confidential Client’s Commercial Auto & Equipment team, you will:
- Gain knowledge to verify coverage, compensability, and appropriate claim payments by reviewing policies, accident details, and other claim documentation.
- Develop investigative skills: take and review recorded statements from involved parties and witnesses, review police reports, and gather other evidence.
- Evaluate claim exposure and establish timely reserves as you build subject-matter knowledge.
- Document decisions, correspondence, and discussions to comply with industry regulations, legal requirements, and internal policies.
- Support customers with empathy and clear communication — explain the claims process, status, and rationale behind decisions.
- Obtain and maintain required state insurance licenses as applicable.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- Previous insurance-related experience or customer-service experience preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Effective time-management and organizational skills.
- Comfortable with technology and standard claims software.
- Ability to travel as required to fulfill job responsibilities.
- Must be able to obtain any state licensing required for claims handling.
Location & Work Model
- Location: Stevens Point, WI.
- Work model: Hybrid (Confidential Client’s Stevens Point office). Optional work-from-home days Monday and Friday; in-office Tuesday–Thursday.
- Note: This role is NOT available for remote-only work.

- Estimated pay (from source posting): $78,441 per year (estimated).
