What You’ll Do
As an entry-level Claims Representative in the Motorcycle unit you will:
- Review policies, accident reports and other claim information to verify coverage, compensability and reasonable payments
- Take and evaluate recorded statements from involved parties and witnesses and review police reports and other evidence to develop investigative skills
- Establish and maintain timely reserves as you build your understanding of claim exposure
- Document claim decisions, correspondence and case notes to comply with legal, regulatory and internal requirements
- Communicate with customers empathetically, explain claim status and decisions, and help guide claimants through the process
- Obtain and maintain any required state insurance licenses
What It Takes
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- Previous insurance-related or customer-service experience is preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Good time-management and organizational skills
- Comfortable using technology; able to learn claims systems and tools
- Willingness and ability to travel as needed to meet job responsibilities

Location & Work Model
- Job location: Bettendorf, IA — this role follows a hybrid schedule (in-office majority, with optional remote days per the hybrid policy). This position is not a fully remote role.
- Applicants must be able to commute to the Bettendorf, IA office as required and meet any state licensing requirements for claims handling.
