Role overview

Confidential Client is hiring Field Claims Representatives to service the territory surrounding Atlanta, GA. This field-facing role investigates and evaluates multi-line insurance claims (auto, property, bodily injury) through in-person contact, inspections, and claim file management. Candidates must reside within the assigned territory.

What you’ll do

• Complete thorough claim investigations in the field
• Interview insureds, claimants, witnesses and consult police/hospital records
• Evaluate claim facts and applicable policy coverage
• Inspect property and auto damage and prepare repair estimates
• Prepare clear, timely reports of findings and secure settlements with insureds and claimants
• Use claims-handling software and mobile applications to adjust losses in a largely paperless environment
• Provide professional, customer-focused service to independent agents and policyholders
• When eligible, serve as a certified Arbitration Panelist

Who we’re looking for

This territory is open to both entry-level candidates and experienced claims representatives.

Entry-level candidates — key expectations:

• Available and communicative during regular business hours
• Desire to learn the insurance industry and deliver strong customer experiences
• Ability to work independently in the field
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Good problem-solving, negotiation, organization and prioritization skills
• Timely follow-up and a valid driver’s license
• Education/credentials: bachelor’s degree preferred; AINS, AIC or CPCU designations are a plus

Experienced candidates — key expectations:

• All items listed above, plus:
• Multi-line claims experience preferred (auto, property, bodily injury)
• Demonstrated ability to assess auto, property and BI damages
• Typically 1+ years of claims-handling experience; bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
• AINS, AIC or CPCU designations preferred

Note: Candidates must live within the Atlanta, GA territory for which they will be assigned.

Compensation

Entry Level pay range: $57,000 - $76,000 annually.
Experienced Representative pay range: $62,000 - $90,000 annually.

Pay is determined by education, experience, location, knowledge, skills and abilities. Eligible associates may also receive an annual cash bonus and stock incentives based on company and individual performance.
