Overview
Confidential Client is hiring an Entry‑Level Auto Claims Adjuster to join their Colorado Springs, CO team. This is a full‑time, contract role focused on handling high-volume, low‑complexity non‑injury auto claims. The position includes a comprehensive, fully paid training program and clear advancement pathways for candidates who demonstrate learning and strong member service skills.
What You’ll Do
This role is ideal for someone eager to learn the Property & Claims (P&C) insurance business and develop claims handling skills. Responsibilities include:
- Acquire and apply basic knowledge of auto coverages (physical damage and liability) to evaluate and settle low‑complexity auto claims (comprehensive, collision, glass, roadside, rental).
- Resolve claims through proactive problem solving and decision making within authority guidelines and under direct supervision.
- Document evaluations, investigations, negotiations, and settlement decisions clearly and accurately.
- Collaborate with internal and external business partners to facilitate timely claims resolution.
- Support members, claimants, and partners using phone, email, and digital tools to deliver exceptional service.
- Develop foundational knowledge of P&C insurance policy contracts, coverages, and internal claims handling processes.
- Support workload surges and catastrophe (CAT) response operations as needed, which may require evenings, weekends, or travel with minimal notice.
- Follow risk, compliance, and recordkeeping policies in all claim activities.
Qualifications
Minimum requirements:
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
- Strong customer service skills with clear, professional communication across multiple channels.
- Ability to prioritize, multi‑task, and navigate multiple business applications.
- Willingness and ability to obtain required insurance adjuster license(s) and state registrations within 90 days of hire.
- Successful completion of job‑related assessments is required.

Compensation & Benefits
- Hiring range: $49,840 to $51,840 per year.
- Pay is determined based on experience and market data; employees may be eligible for incentive pay.

Training & Schedule
- Comprehensive, fully paid four‑month training program (materials, licensing costs, instructor-led and e‑learning). New classes start regularly.
- Training attendance is mandatory and will be held in‑office for the first 8 weeks (expected schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM).
- Post‑training typical shift: Monday–Friday, approximately 10:00 AM–6:30 PM (schedules may vary; some weekend coverage possible).
- After about six months in‑office, eligible employees may work offsite up to 2 days per week (subject to policy and business needs).
- Relocation assistance is not available for this position.
