What You’ll Do

Confidential Client is hiring an entry-level Civil Project Engineer to contribute to a range of public and private site-development projects across the Pacific Northwest. You will support design and engineering work from concept through construction, collaborating with internal teams and external clients.

  • Prepare civil engineering designs and calculations for site development, local roads, grading, drainage, sanitary sewer, water and utility improvements.
  • Assist with stormwater design and regulatory compliance documentation.
  • Produce and update AutoCAD and Civil 3D drawings and plan sets.
  • Coordinate with clients, architects, subconsultants, and permitting authorities.
  • Support construction administration tasks as needed (submittal reviews, RFI responses, site observation notes).
  • Maintain organized project documentation and communicate status updates to project leads.

Qualifications (Required)

  • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.
  • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification.
  • Practical experience with AutoCAD.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and eager to learn in a team environment.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have

  • Familiarity with stormwater modeling tools such as WWHM or MGS Flood.
  • Experience with Civil 3D.
  • Experience preparing storm drainage reports.
  • Prior exposure to K-12, higher education, municipal, parks, healthcare, or DoD projects.

Compensation & Benefits

The confidential client may place hires at Project Engineer I or Project Engineer II depending on background and experience. Actual pay will be based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.

  • Project Engineer I: $32.93 - $41.35 per hour.
  • Annual discretionary performance-based bonus.
