What You’ll Do

You will join the Water/Wastewater team supporting design, modeling, evaluation, and construction administration for water distribution and wastewater systems. Typical responsibilities include:

• Support water and sewer hydraulic modeling, analysis, and reporting
• Assist with design of pipelines, pump stations, and treatment system components
• Prepare drawings and construction documents using AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or Bentley MicroStation
• Contribute to GIS mapping and asset documentation
• Participate in construction administration and field observation tasks as needed
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary team members, clients, and contractors
• Help prepare technical memoranda, specifications, and cost estimates
• Learn industry best practices under mentorship from senior engineers

Qualifications

Minimum / preferred qualifications for success in this role:

• Bachelor of Science in Civil or Environmental Engineering from an ABET-accredited program
• 0–4 years relevant water/wastewater engineering or internship experience (entry-level candidates encouraged to apply)
• Familiarity with water distribution and sanitary sewer modeling tools (experience is a plus)
• Experience or coursework with AutoCAD Civil 3D, GIS, and/or Bentley MicroStation preferred
• Passing grade on the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam or EIT certification preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn on the job

• Estimated salary range: $70,000 — $125,000 per year (good-faith estimate; final offer depends on experience and qualifications)

• Employment type: Full time; contract classification indicated by client
• Location: Hollywood Park, TX — this is an on-site role with some potential field work
