Role Summary

Confidential Client is hiring an entry-level Civil Engineer / Civil Engineering Designer to join their team in Park Terrace, NY. This full-time position focuses on producing civil engineering plans and drawings, supporting project delivery, and collaborating with project managers, engineers, and clients on a variety of public- and private-sector infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Create engineering drawings and plans using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD)
• Support design development through site visits and field data collection
• Perform basic engineering calculations and analyses to confirm compliance with codes and standards
• Prepare technical specifications, reports, and preliminary cost estimates
• Review and revise drawings and documents in response to stakeholder feedback
• Participate in design reviews and project meetings; provide technical input and coordination
• Coordinate with project managers, senior engineers, and external consultants

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Hands-on experience or coursework with computer-aided design (CAD) tools (AutoCAD preferred)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Clear written and verbal communication skills and ability to work on multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects with attention to detail
• Willingness to perform site visits and fieldwork as needed

• Estimated pay: $87,870 per year (estimated)
• Location: Park Terrace, NY — on-site work with occasional field/site visits
