What You’ll Do
Confidential Client is seeking a motivated Civil Engineer to support land development and site design projects. This role is ideal for recent graduates, EITs, and engineers with up to 3 years of experience who want hands-on technical work, mentorship, and career growth.
- Assist in planning and designing site development and land development projects
- Prepare engineering calculations for grading, drainage, utilities, and stormwater systems
- Develop and modify construction and design plans using AutoCAD / Civil 3D and other engineering tools
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and technical staff to deliver quality, code-compliant work
- Conduct research, prepare technical reports, and support permitting and entitlement efforts
- Participate in project budgeting, scheduling, and coordination tasks
- Follow company standards, safety protocols, and civil engineering best practices
- Take on increasing responsibility as skills and experience grow
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- Experience or coursework using AutoCAD
- Strong interest in land development and site design
- Good communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Preferred
- Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Knowledge of grading, drainage, and stormwater/site development principles
- EIT certification or active plans to pursue licensure
- Internship or co-op experience in civil/site design (helpful but not required)
Recent graduates, entry‑level candidates, and those with 0–3 years of experience are encouraged to apply.
