Your Role

Confidential Client is hiring an entry-level Civil Engineer in Minneapolis, MN. In this role you'll work with experienced engineers and designers on real site development projects — contributing to design documents, learning industry standards, and supporting multidisciplinary teams. Expect limited travel (approximately 5%) to construction jobsites to observe work and support project delivery.

• Develop design solutions using engineering fundamentals and problem-solving skills
• Prepare calculations, drawings, specifications and other design documents
• Learn and apply design codes and industry standards
• Build skills with industry design software and workflows
• Coordinate with engineers, designers and other project disciplines
• Attend construction site visits and support field observation
• Take on increasing responsibility as your technical skills and confidence grow

What You’ll Work On

Confidential Client's Civil team focuses on site functionality for commercial, industrial and bulk-handling facilities. Typical project work includes:

• Roadway and track layouts
• Utility coordination and permitting support
• Stormwater management, grading, drainage and erosion control
• Truck simulations and site circulation analysis
• Preparing computations and design documentation for construction

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
• Graduating December 2026 or May 2027, or recently graduated
• Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn
• Interest in collaborative, multidisciplinary project work
• Familiarity or coursework with industry design software is a plus

Compensation

• Starting Annual Salary Range: $69,000–$85,000

A variety of factors are considered when determining an offer, including market data, geographic location, experience and specialized skills.
