Position Overview

Confidential Client is hiring an entry-level Civil Engineer with a focus on land development for their Baltimore, MD office. This role offers hands-on experience on site design and infrastructure projects using industry-standard design tools and working within a collaborative engineering team.

Responsibilities

• Support land development projects including site layout, grading, utility design, and permitting tasks
• Prepare design drawings and plan sets using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or MicroStation
• Assist with stormwater management and erosion-control design tasks
• Coordinate data and maps using GIS tools when required
• Work with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to meet project milestones
• Produce clear technical documentation and respond to regulatory review comments
• Manage multiple assignments and maintain project schedules under supervision

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program
• Strong understanding of civil/site engineering fundamentals suitable for an entry-level role
• Experience or coursework with AutoCAD and/or Civil 3D is highly desirable
• Familiarity with MicroStation and/or GIS is a plus
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a design team
• Positive attitude, strong organizational skills, and willingness to learn
• EIT/FE certification is preferred but not required
• Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship

• Internship or co-op experience in land development or site/civil engineering
• Exposure to permitting and municipal review processes
• Basic knowledge of stormwater design principles and local regulations
