What You’ll Do
- Support civil site design and prepare construction documentation (plans, details, specifications, quantity/cost estimates)
- Apply established design standards, quality-control procedures, and engineering best practices
- Prepare engineering calculations, technical memoranda, reports, and project exhibits
- Interpret and apply municipal zoning, land development codes, and local design standards
- Perform civil site design tasks such as grading, drainage, utilities, and layout using AutoCAD® Civil 3D
- Conduct site visits and inspections; document findings in written reports
- Coordinate with project engineers to maintain schedules and deliverables
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited program
- ~0–4 years relevant experience (new graduates encouraged to apply)
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD® Civil 3D preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; internship or co-op experience preferred
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification preferred or ability to obtain within six months
- Strong attention to detail, effective oral/written communication, and ability to work in a collaborative team environment
Role Details

- Estimated pay: $60,534 per year (estimated)
- Summer schedule: Reduced/summer hours (Memorial Day–Labor Day)
