What You’ll Do

Confidential Client is seeking an entry-level Civil Engineer to support planning, design, and permitting for land development and infrastructure projects. This role is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on site/civil engineering experience.

  • Assist with planning, design, and permitting for civil engineering, land development, and infrastructure projects
  • Prepare and modify engineering documents including reports, specifications, plans, construction schedules, cost estimates, and design plans using engineering/design software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, etc.)
  • Use reports, maps, drawings, engineering plans, test and aerial photographs to assess soils, terrain, hydrology, topography, and geologic data and their impacts on design
  • Support site planning, grading, stormwater management, drainage design, and erosion control tasks
  • Recommend process improvements and new approaches to increase quality and efficiency
  • Apply engineering principles and advanced mathematics to problem solving and design
  • Collaborate with team members and other disciplines to complete project assignments
  • Perform other duties as requested

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
  • 0–2 years of relevant work-related experience (internships and co-ops count)
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA
  • EIT certification or current registration for the FE exam preferred
  • Prior internship or experience in site/civil design, including grading, stormwater, drainage, and soil erosion preferred
  • Proficient with AutoCAD and Civil 3D (or willingness to learn quickly)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to multitask
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a project team
  • Availability for Monday–Friday schedule with occasional evenings/weekends as project needs require

Compensation & Benefits

  • Estimated salary range (provided by source): $65,000 - $84,500 (annual)
