What You’ll Do
Confidential Client is hiring an Entry‑Level Civil Design Engineer to join their Glendale, CO engineering team. This role is a hands‑on design position with mentorship from licensed engineers and a clear path to grow technical skills and work toward PE licensure.
- Assist project engineers and project managers with design and development of civil engineering projects.
- Prepare plans, drawings, calculations, and project documentation.
- Support site grading, drainage, utility, roadway, and infrastructure design.
- Develop drawings and deliverables using AutoCAD Civil 3D and related engineering software.
- Help prepare technical reports, including stormwater reports and SWPPPs.
- Assist with permit applications and shop drawing reviews.
- Participate in internal project meetings and client coordination as appropriate.
- Coordinate with engineers, designers, surveyors, and other project team members.
- Manage assigned tasks and deadlines across multiple projects.
- Incorporate review comments and technical feedback into designs.
- Learn and apply applicable design standards, codes, and regulatory requirements.
Who You Are (Qualifications)
- Recent civil engineering graduate or up to 2 years of related civil engineering experience.
- 1 year of AutoCAD Civil 3D experience preferred.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability and willingness to develop GIS, CAD, and data management skills.
- Basic understanding of civil engineering concepts (grading, drainage, utilities, roadway).
- Strong problem-solving and math skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple deadlines.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
Education
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from an ABET‑accredited program required.
- EI (Engineer Intern) certification preferred but not required.

Pay Transparency
- Pay range: $75,000 — $90,000 USD per year (Glendale, CO). This range is provided to comply with applicable pay transparency requirements.
