What You’ll Do

Confidential Client is hiring a Civil Construction Project Manager to support the successful delivery of heavy civil construction and sitework projects. This is an early-career to mid-level role ideal for recent Civil Engineering or Construction Management graduates who want hands-on field experience and a pathway to project leadership.

• Interpret project plans and specifications and ensure construction aligns with contract documents
• Review and manage submittals and shop drawings
• Generate purchase orders and track material deliveries
• Support project scheduling and coordinate subcontractors and vendors
• Prepare and organize daily field reports and project documentation
• Ensure compliance with client, state, and federal requirements (including federal project security protocols)
• Provide general support to Project Managers and Superintendents; escalate issues and propose solutions

What We’re Looking For

• U.S. Citizenship required (necessary for federal project access)
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (required) or Construction Management (preferred)
• 0–3 years’ experience in heavy civil construction or related field; entry-level candidates with strong academic records are encouraged to apply
• Strong organizational skills and a detail-oriented approach to documentation and workflows
• Good verbal and written communication skills; team-oriented mindset
• Ability to pass state and federal professional reviews to access military bases and other secured federal facilities
• Civil Engineer (PE) license or active progress toward licensure is a plus

Schedule & Location

• Employment type: Full-Time
• Typical schedule: Monday–Friday
• Primary location: Newbern, TN (relocation may be required to a regional office in Biloxi, MS or Dunkirk, MD depending on assignment)
• Projects will require travel to job sites; per diem provided for travel assignments
