Overview

Confidential client is hiring a Civil Construction Project Manager to support delivery of heavy civil, utilities, and sitework projects in Gulfport, MS. This full-time role is well suited to early-career Civil Engineering or Construction Management graduates and professionals who want hands-on project experience and growth toward leadership.
Salary: $85,000 - $120,000 per year + performance bonuses.
Employment type: Full-Time. Schedule: Monday–Friday.

What You’ll Do

• Interpret project plans and specifications to ensure construction accuracy.
• Assist with reviewing and managing project submittals.
• Generate purchase orders and track material deliveries.
• Support project scheduling and coordinate subcontractors and vendors.
• Prepare and organize daily field reports for project leadership.
• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and client requirements (including federal contract obligations).
• Provide general support to Project Managers and Superintendents as needed.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required to comply with federal project requirements.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (required) or Construction Management (preferred).
• 1+ years of experience in heavy civil construction preferred; entry-level candidates with strong academic records are encouraged to apply.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills; able to manage multiple responsibilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; team-oriented.
• Ability to pass state and federal professional reviews for access to military bases and federal facilities.
• Civil Engineer license or active progress toward licensure is a plus.

Location & Travel

• Primary location: Gulfport, MS (this posting is for Gulfport, MS).
• Role may require relocation to or work from other regional offices (examples noted by client: Biloxi, MS; Newbern, TN; Dunkirk, MD).
• Projects may require travel to multiple sites; per diem provided when applicable.
