What You’ll Do

This part-time role supports delivery of individualized behavioral services in a center-based program. You will work under the direction of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to reduce unsafe behaviors and increase communication, social, and daily-living skills for children, adolescents, and young adults with autism or other developmental disabilities.

  • Support and implement individualized behavior plans and treatment targets
  • Observe and record client skills and behaviors; collect and maintain accurate data
  • Implement evidence-based ABA strategies as directed by the BCBA
  • Promote language, social, behavioral, and daily living skills in structured activities
  • Communicate progress and help update program goals with the clinical team
  • Participate in required trainings and team meetings
  • Maintain professional documentation and follow confidentiality and safety policies
  • Must have afternoon availability (shifts that run until 6:00 PM)

Who We’re Looking For

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential in good standing OR willingness to complete a 40-hour training, competency assessment, and exam to become RBT within 6 months of hire (training compensation provided)
  • Previous experience working with children preferred; experience with autism, intellectual or developmental disabilities, or ABA is a plus
  • Strong observational and data-recording skills
  • Patient, calm, and solution-focused when supporting challenging behaviors
  • Ability to pass background checks and any state-required clearances

Compensation & Schedule

  • Employment Type: Part-time only
  • Direct-care pay: $20.00 – $26.00 per hour (starting at $20/hr; increases based on experience, credentialing, and ABA-specific education)
  • Indirect-care pay: $15.00 – $18.00 per hour (based on experience and certification)
  • Training compensation provided for approved RBT coursework and competency work
  • Afternoon availability required (until 6:00 PM)
