What You’ll Do

This role covers entry-level through principal chemical engineering responsibilities. You will work on a variety of engineering projects—often under supervision at the entry level—with clear instructions and expected results. Typical responsibilities include:

  • Identifies opportunities for process, safety, or efficiency improvements and suggests improved methods
  • Gathers, correlates, and analyzes engineering data using established procedures
  • Performs detailed calculations, tests, and engineering analyses
  • Supports operating and maintenance teams with problem identification and resolution
  • Prepares and presents technical reports summarizing conclusions and recommendations
  • Assists senior engineers on larger projects and contributes to project planning
  • Helps develop goals, budgets, programs, and standard procedures
  • Ensures work activities comply with environmental rules, regulations, and safety expectations
  • Occasionally directs co-ops or technicians on specific tasks
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required

  • ABET-accredited Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology
  • Demonstrated ability to gather and analyze technical data and perform engineering calculations
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for report preparation and presentations

Preferred

  • Ability to analyze and solve engineering problems from a business perspective
  • Familiarity with process engineering, operations support, or maintenance engineering
  • Experience preparing technical reports and supporting cross-functional teams
  • Commitment to safety, environmental compliance, and cost-effective work practices

Work Location & Remote Work

Location (authoritative): Strathmoor Manor, KY, USA.

This position may be assigned on-site, remotely (telecommute), or as a hybrid arrangement. If remote, candidates must be eligible to work in the U.S.; occasional on-site presence may be required for face-to-face coordination with coworkers or for project-specific needs. Compensation & Benefits

  • Estimated base pay: $78,648 per year (estimated figure from the source posting).
