What You’ll Do

Confidential Client is hiring an entry-level Applications Engineer on the North America Regional Applications Team. This customer-facing role supports a broad portfolio of semiconductor products across industrial, communications, automotive, instrumentation, and healthcare markets. You will help customers and internal teams solve technical problems, recommend signal chains and reference designs, and develop technical content that enables product adoption.

  • Provide customer technical support and training via email, phone, virtual channels, and onsite visits
  • Assess customer system requirements and recommend appropriate products, signal chains, and reference designs
  • Support hardware and software platforms and evaluation systems, including hands-on debugging
  • Review customer system and hardware designs; diagnose and guide resolution of complex issues
  • Partner with internal hardware and software platform teams to relay customer feedback and recommend product improvements
  • Create technical content such as application notes, technical articles, and training materials
  • Stay current on products, tools, and industry trends

What We’re Looking For

This is an entry-level role (0–2 years). Ideal candidates will combine technical fundamentals with strong communication and hands‑on lab skills.

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Entry level: 0–2 years of related experience
  • Strong analytical thinking and a methodical approach to troubleshooting
  • Basic understanding of analog circuit design and debugging
  • Basic system-level architecture knowledge
  • Experience or familiarity with circuit simulation (e.g., LTspice)
  • Clear and concise written/verbal communication skills
  • Hands-on lab experience with oscilloscope, multimeter, and similar equipment

Compensation & Benefits

  • Expected salary range for new hires: $71,989 to $99,006 per year (actual offer may vary based on location, experience, education, and other bona fide factors)
  • Role qualifies for a discretionary performance-based bonus
  • Medical, vision, and dental coverage; 401(k); paid vacation; paid holidays; sick time; and additional benefits
  • Required travel: up to ~10% (customer visits, onsite support)
  • Remote/telecommute option available
