What You’ll Do
The Cash and Trade Processing Analyst II will support transaction services and cash management operations. This is an entry-level, full-time role focused on accurate processing, investigation, and continuous improvement of cash and lockbox workflows.
- Assist with operational processes and process improvements for cash management and transaction services.
- Facilitate end-to-end processing of complex transaction types and escalate issues when needed.
- Investigate, document, and help implement corrective actions for transaction issues.
- Cross-train across roles to provide reliable backup coverage across shifts.
- Support control, risk, and transaction services projects to maintain compliance and efficiency.
- Execute tasks within established procedures and controls to minimize losses and operational risk.
- Monitor workflow, review error reports, and update capacity or shift reports as needed.
- Allocate resources to systems (e.g., TMS, Parascript) and support reconciliation to the Process Control Manual.
Key Responsibilities — Lockbox & Data Entry
This role is operationally focused within a government/public-sector lockbox environment and includes duties that ensure timely, accurate data handling and adherence to client SLAs.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for data entry functions and monitor all data entry work streams.
- Maintain high attention to detail to minimize rework and support straight-through processing.
- Train and provide feedback to new hires; oversee training activities to ensure consistency.
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve productivity and efficiency.
- Operate within a high-security environment, adhering to departmental and client policies.
- Collaborate across shifts and sites to meet client timelines and quality requirements.
- Accept and act on feedback constructively and participate in cross-site improvement initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience
- 0–2 years of relevant experience preferred; prior lockbox, payment processing, banking, or operations experience strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated cash and trade operations experience and knowledge.
- Strong data entry skills, excellent attention to detail, and a focus on accuracy.
- Intermediate PC proficiency, including MS Office and lockbox or payment-processing applications.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with audit, quality control, or process-control activities is a plus.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to manage time effectively.
- Comfortable working a flexible schedule, including weekends/holidays and additional hours as required.
- Must be able to speak, read, and write English fluently.
Education
- Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience preferred.
Schedule, Location & Eligibility
- Primary location: Cheektowaga, NY (Getzville area).
- Day-shift schedule with one weekend day required; this operation runs multi-shift and covers many calendar days per year.
- Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States. Successful candidates will be required to complete background checks (criminal, credit) and drug screening as required by the client.
Compensation & Benefits
- Primary Location Full Time Salary Range: $55,341.00 - $68,270.00 (USD, annual).
- In addition to salary, eligible employees may receive discretionary and formulaic incentive and retention awards.
