Position summary

Confidential Client is hiring a Case Manager Supervisor to lead a case management team focused on dependency and adoption services. This is an entry-level management role responsible for supervising staff, ensuring timely and accurate casework, and supporting high-quality service delivery.


What You’ll Do

  • Supervise day-to-day operations of one case management team, reporting to the Program Director and Assistant Program Director.
  • Coordinate, review, and ensure accuracy and timeliness of casework and workflow.
  • Mentor and coach staff; provide regular bimonthly full case review supervision and alternating individual supervision to support development and retention.
  • Handle low-level crisis calls and provide troubleshooting as needed; escalate to chain-of-command when appropriate.
  • Coordinate on-call rotation to ensure client access to case management services.
  • Participate in permanency cohort meetings, projection tracker updates, community groups, and trainings as directed.
  • Assign or provide direct services to children and families when necessary.
  • Maintain and oversee client data collection and reporting to meet program outcome measures.
  • Ensure staff maintain required certifications and participate in continuing education.
  • Document case activities clearly and timely; train team members on documentation standards.
  • Maintain sensitivity to cultural, community, family, and child needs and adhere to agency core values.

Essential qualifications

  • Case Management Certification required.
  • Subject-matter expertise in foster care and adoptions.
  • Bachelor's degree in human services required; master’s degree preferred.
  • 2+ years supervisory experience and 2+ years in direct service preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to participate in on-call rotation and respond to occasional after-hours needs.
  • Ability to travel regionally and statewide as required; may require use of a personally owned vehicle.
  • Authorized/trained to access protected health information (PHI) and handle sensitive client information.
  • Strong communication, coaching, and team-building skills.

Physical & additional requirements

  • Ability to bend, lift, and carry up to 30 pounds.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality.
  • Must work cooperatively in a team setting and take direction when required.

Compensation

  • Estimated annual pay (as listed by source): $45,940 per year (estimated).
