Overview
Confidential Client is hiring a Capital Project Manager (entry-level / early-career engineering role) to support manufacturing operations and capital projects at a facility in Pecan Way Terrace, SC. This role blends hands-on manufacturing floor support with process-improvement tasks and documentation ownership. The position is fully onsite.
What You’ll Do
- Support daily workstation activities and manufacturing operations across ~17 workstations.
- Assist with production line expansions and layout changes to improve throughput.
- Evaluate workflows, identify inefficiencies, and recommend process improvements.
- Develop, update, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Assist with safety documentation and help ensure process compliance.
- Support tooling organization and operational efficiency initiatives.
- Collaborate with production teams to maintain smooth shop operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field, or equivalent internship/industrial experience.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills (data analysis, basic modeling, reporting).
- Self-motivated, able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Experience in a manufacturing, construction, or industrial setting is a plus.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Work Environment & Schedule
- Approximately 60% manufacturing floor / 40% office-based work.
- Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (standard 40-hour work week).
- Fully onsite at the Pecan Way Terrace, SC facility.
Pay & Benefits
- Pay range: $120,000 – $140,000 per year. Actual pay offered will depend on qualifications, experience, geographic location, and other job-related factors.
