What You’ll Do

This role supports campus recruiting and the summer internship program by managing events, communications, vendor relationships, and day-to-day program logistics. You will be the operational lead for the intern experience and a primary point of contact for campus partners.

  • Manage the full intern experience logistics: orientation, speaker series, social events, networking, and other engagement activities.
  • Serve as liaison for company events that touch interns and early-career programming.
  • Coordinate across corporate teams and plant locations to deliver consistent intern experiences.
  • Maintain and update SharePoint resources for interns, managers, and team leads.
  • Facilitate training for recruiting team leads and intern managers to ensure standardized processes.
  • Manage relationships with intern housing vendors, relocation and benefits teams, and other third-party partners.
  • Support recruiting conference logistics — swag/product ordering, shipping, and distribution.
  • Plan and schedule campus activities: career fairs, info sessions, on-campus and virtual interviews, receptions, and employer presentations.
  • Create candidate-facing communications and assets: newsletters, marketing content, job descriptions, and engagement calendars.
  • Oversee product and swag inventory, coordinate design and shipping of event kits.
  • Manage campus-related expenses, PCard activity, and contribution payments.
  • Partner with campus recruiters and program managers to influence strategy and measure program success.
  • Create and manage reporting metrics for event planning, engagement, and budgeting; use data to recommend process improvements.

Who You Are / Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma required; bachelor’s or associate degree preferred.
  • 2+ years event planning experience (in-person and virtual).
  • Comfortable supporting recruiting strategy, employer branding, candidate management, and interview coordination.
  • Strong project management skills; able to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Excellent client service orientation — positive, proactive, and team-focused.
  • Strong influencing skills, sound judgment, and polished written and verbal communication.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • Data-driven with experience in analysis and reporting.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
  • Able to manage up, down, and across — comfortable interacting with executives and students.
  • Adaptable, eager to learn, and receptive to feedback.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or associate degree.
  • 2 years of full-cycle recruiting experience.
  • Direct internship program management experience.

Work Arrangement & Location

  • Primary location: Minneapolis, MN (remote/telecommute options noted).
  • This posting indicates a contract employment arrangement and full-time hours.
  • Relocation support will not be offered. International relocation or work outside the U.S. will not be considered.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary range: $57,700 – $79,500 annually.
  • Total Rewards may include benefits, retirement, time off, wellbeing resources, and eligibility for incentive programs — details vary by role and employment status.
