What You’ll Do

Confidential Client is seeking an experienced C / C++ Software Engineer to design, implement, test, and maintain high-quality software. This is an onsite role based in Tualatin, OR. You will work closely with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver robust, maintainable code and help drive technical decisions.

• Design, develop, and maintain C and C++ applications and libraries
• Write clear, testable code and unit tests
• Debug and resolve software defects and performance issues
• Collaborate with systems engineers, QA, and stakeholders to define requirements and deliverables
• Participate in design reviews and contribute to technical documentation
• Follow software development lifecycle and best practices (version control, code reviews)

What We’re Looking For (Required)

• 5+ years professional experience developing software in C and/or C++
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
• Strong communication and collaboration skills in a team environment
• Ability to work onsite in Tualatin, OR and start on an accelerated timeline (immediate joiners preferred)

Nice to Have

• Experience writing unit tests and familiarity with test frameworks
• Familiarity with common build systems and CI processes
• Background in systems programming, real-time systems, or performance-sensitive applications
• Experience working in regulated industries or with rigorous QA/lifecycle processes

• Schedule: Full-time (standard business hours), immediate start preferred
