What You’ll Do
Confidential Client is hiring an entry-level Buyer to join their purchasing team in Leetsdale, PA. This onsite, full-time role is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional to develop procurement, purchasing, and supply‑chain skills within a manufacturing/logistics environment.
- Convert approved purchase requisitions into purchase orders
- Maintain accurate purchasing and supplier data
- Track spend, cost history, and inventory levels
- Monitor open purchase orders and delivery dates
- Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services
- Assist with invoice and receiving discrepancies
- Communicate order status and purchasing requests with internal teams
- Maintain purchasing records and documentation
- Support spend tracking and reporting
- Assist with process improvements and administrative purchasing tasks
- Cross-train on additional purchasing responsibilities as needed
Qualifications
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, Finance or related field preferred
- Recent graduates encouraged to apply
- Internship or entry-level experience in purchasing, supply chain, procurement, inventory, logistics, or manufacturing is a plus
- Moderate Microsoft Excel skills
- Ross ERP or similar ERP experience is a plus
- Familiarity with purchase orders, invoicing, receiving, and data entry preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Eagerness to learn and grow within the purchasing function
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship
- Must be able to work onsite in Leetsdale, PA five days per week
- No relocation assistance provided
