What You’ll Do

Confidential Client is seeking Business Valuation Consulting Associates who will contribute to valuation and financial advisory engagements across a variety of industries. You will work on multiple team-based projects, support senior staff and clients, and help produce valuation analyses and reports used for financial reporting, transactions, tax, and litigation matters.

• Gather financial statements and company data through direct client contact and collaboration with internal assurance and tax teams
• Conduct industry, market and competitor research to inform valuation assumptions
• Build and maintain valuation models, including discounted cash flow (DCF), market multiples, transaction comps, and option-pricing analyses
• Perform quantitative financial analysis and sensitivity testing
• Apply appropriate valuation methodologies for enterprise, intangible asset, and equity/debt valuations
• Draft business valuation and litigation support reports that explain methodology, assumptions, and conclusions
• Prepare client-facing presentations and proposals
• Support multiple engagements simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality deliverables
• Travel locally and nationally as needed to meet client and engagement requirements

Minimum Qualifications

• Working toward or recently completed a B.A./B.S. or M.A./M.S. in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration (finance concentration preferred)
• Minimum 3.0 GPA preferred
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills with attention to detail
• Proficiency with Excel and comfort building financial models
• Ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly in writing and presentations
• Comfortable working in team settings and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to travel locally and nationally

Preferred Qualifications

• Understanding of core financial concepts including NPV, DCF and WACC
• Prior modeling, valuation coursework, internship, or project experience
• Strong organizational skills and a self-starter mindset
• Experience preparing client deliverables, reports, or presentations (PowerPoint)
• Eagerness to learn and grow within a consulting environment and a client-service orientation

Compensation & Benefits

• Compensation Range: $73,920 - $88,200 (range reflects factors such as experience, location, and qualifications)
