Overview

Confidential Client is seeking a Business Systems Analyst (BSA) Consultant to partner with business stakeholders and technology teams to deliver solutions that support risk management, regulatory reporting, and digital transformation initiatives. This is a contract-to-hire, fully onsite role based in Wichita, KS. Compensation: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour.

What You’ll Do

• Partner with business users to understand objectives and define clear business requirements.
• Elicit and document business processes, user stories, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria.
• Analyze current-state workflows and recommend process improvements and technical solutions that deliver measurable value.
• Support the design, testing, and implementation of risk, reporting, and trading-related applications.
• Collaborate with development teams in an Agile environment; help manage and refine backlog items.
• Use SQL and data-analysis techniques to validate requirements, prepare data extracts/reports, and troubleshoot issues.
• Coordinate UAT and integration testing; support change-management and release activities.
• Research and evaluate cloud and emerging technologies (including AWS) for recommended solutions.

Required Qualifications

• Early to mid-level experience as a Business Systems Analyst, BSA, or similar role.
• Proven experience gathering requirements and working directly with business stakeholders.
• Strong SQL, Excel, and data analysis skills.
• Working knowledge of SDLC and Agile methodologies (participation in ceremonies, backlog management).
• Strong analytical thinking, effective written and verbal communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in MIS, CIS, Business, Finance, Mathematics, or a related field — or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AWS cloud technologies and cloud-based solution evaluation.
• Experience supporting regulatory reporting, risk management, or financial systems.
• Familiarity with risk management systems, OTC derivatives, trading platforms, or financial markets.

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay range: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour (Contract-to-hire).
