Overview

Confidential Client is hiring for an Associate Business Process Analyst or Business Process Analyst to support program and financial processes in the Space sector at Redondo Beach, CA. This role focuses on SAP and Cobra cost/reporting processes, data validation and reconciliation, recurring and ad hoc reporting, and process documentation. An active U.S. Government Top Secret (TS) or TS/SCI clearance is required at time of application.


What You’ll Do

  • Support recurring business and financial processes and scheduled reporting cycles, including data collection, validation, reconciliation, and reporting
  • Support data flows across systems such as SAP, Cobra, wInsight, and related reporting tools
  • Manage Cobra processes: update Cobra code files, implement and reprice rate files, and validate data used for cost reporting and reconciliation
  • Support SAP-related processes: create/maintain networks, WBS elements, IWOs, settlement rules, and related project/cost-structure data
  • Investigate data discrepancies, perform root-cause analysis, and work with stakeholders to resolve issues
  • Prepare recurring and ad hoc reports using Excel, Power BI, SQL queries, or other reporting tools
  • Participate in testing, validation, and implementation of system updates, reporting changes, and process improvements
  • Document business processes, SOPs, job aids, and process flows to improve consistency and knowledge sharing
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and support process enhancements
  • Manage defined processes independently, contribute to small projects, and recommend practical improvements to reporting, reconciliation, or workflow efficiency
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

  • Basic qualifications for Associate Business Process Analyst:

    • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution (Business, Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or similar)
    • 0–2 years professional experience in business process analysis, financial systems support, reporting or data analysis
    • Active U.S. Government Top Secret (TS) or Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) security clearance at time of application
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; ability to work with large datasets and perform basic analysis
    • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Basic qualifications for Business Process Analyst:

    • Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
    • Active U.S. Government Top Secret (TS) or Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) security clearance at time of application
    • Experience supporting Cobra administration activities (rate file updates, code file maintenance) and SAP project/cost processes
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; ability to work with large datasets and perform basic analysis
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in financial, cost, or project-management environments
  • Familiarity with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) principles and reporting
  • Experience with Power BI, SQL, VBA, Power Query, or other reporting / process automation tools
  • Background in government contracting, cost management, or program finance environments

Compensation & Benefits

  • Associate Business Process Analyst: $69,000 to $104,000 (annual)
  • Business Process Analyst: $83,400 to $125,000 (annual)
  • Primary posting salary range overall: $69,000 - $125,000

These ranges are provided consistent with applicable pay-transparency laws (California). Final pay will depend on role level, experience, education, skills, and market factors. Eligible employees may also receive discretionary bonuses, overtime where applicable, and other compensation. Confidential Client provides benefits including health insurance, life/disability coverage, retirement savings plan options, paid time off, and paid holidays.


Location & Work Authorization

  • Location: Redondo Beach, CA (on-site at the Space sector)
  • Travel: Approximately 10% of the time
  • U.S. Citizenship is required for positions requiring a government clearance. An active Top Secret (TS) or TS/SCI clearance is required at time of application.
