What You’ll Do

Confidential Client is seeking a Business Performance Improvement Consultant to help clients improve finance, operations, and the people side of change. This role focuses on delivering client-facing solutions, analyzing business processes and data, and communicating actionable recommendations.

  • Collaborate on client engagements spanning finance performance management, financial reporting remediation & compliance, people & change, and supply chain & operations
  • Collect, analyze, and synthesize quantitative and qualitative data to identify process gaps and improvement opportunities
  • Document findings, develop recommendations, and prepare clear deliverables for client stakeholders
  • Support project planning, execution, and status reporting in partnership with project teams
  • Use AI-powered productivity tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, generative AI) to accelerate analysis and collaboration
  • Participate in structured onboarding and professional development programs to build consulting skills and technical capability

Who You Are

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Project Management, Supply Chain, or another business discipline
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future
  • If applying for an internship track: must be within one year of final graduation at the time of the internship
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to present findings clearly
  • Critical thinking and creativity when solving client problems across industries
  • Technical proficiency relevant to your assigned capability area (finance, reporting, people & change, or supply chain)
  • Experience with AI-enabled productivity and collaboration tools is a plus

How We Work

  • Hybrid working model combining in-office, client-site, and remote work to support client outcomes and collaboration
  • Local and some out-of-state travel may be required depending on client engagements and project needs

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary range (posted): $75,000 – $92,000
  • Bonus target: $2,000
  • Estimated total cash range: $77,000 – $94,000
  • Benefits may include medical, dental, vision, FSA/HSA healthcare accounts, life and disability insurance, parental leave, adoption/fertility assistance, 401(k) with employer match, paid time off, and paid holidays (benefit details vary by location and eligibility)

  • New York City, NY (role may require work in local office and/or client sites)
