What You’ll Do

Confidential Client seeks motivated early-career candidates for a Business Management Associate position in its Animal Nutrition & Health business. This is an entry-level, rotational training program (12–18 months) that develops functional expertise across core areas of the business and prepares associates for individual contributor or supervisory roles.

  • Complete an intensive 12–18 month training program in one of these core functions: Strategic Pricing, Supply Chain, Commodity Merchandising & Trading, Feed Formulation, Sourcing, Strategic Marketing & Technology, or Data & Business Analytics.
  • Participate in cross-training across other functional areas to build broad industry knowledge.
  • Apply analytical and problem-solving skills to real business challenges; support strategic and tactical initiatives.
  • Contribute to projects related to pricing, supply chain execution, sourcing, feed formulation, commodity risk management, financial analysis, and customer engagement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and support employee engagement and business culture initiatives.
  • Travel as required (approximately 10% or less).

Key Responsibilities

  • Learn and apply strategic pricing methods and market analysis.
  • Support supply chain strategy and day-to-day execution activities.
  • Assist in feed formulation and product optimization efforts.
  • Work with commodity merchandising, trading, risk management, and sourcing teams.
  • Use data and business analytics to inform decisions and measure impact.
  • Contribute to business financials, plant operations, and customer-focused activities.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations clearly, both written and verbal.

Required Qualifications

  • Right to work in the U.S. that is not based solely on possession of a student visa or a third-party sponsored visa.
  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in supply chain, operations, business, sales, finance, agribusiness, ag economics, business analytics, animal science, or a related field, and graduating between December 2026 and August 2027.
  • Willing and able to relocate.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to see the big picture and dive into detail.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving ability using collaboration, creativity, and determination.
  • Comfortable taking calculated risks and executing decisively.
  • Ability to contribute both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum GPA of 3.0.
  • Any prior internships or experience in supply chain, commodity merchandising, analytics, or animal nutrition is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Expected base salary: $74,000 (the disclosed salary may be adjusted for geographic differentials).

  • Minnesota-based employees: Sick & Safe Leave accruals apply per state law (one hour for every 30 worked, up to 48 hours per calendar year, unless otherwise provided by law).

Locations & Work Arrangement

  • Multiple U.S. locations (examples include Olathe/Kansas City, KS; Amarillo, TX; Shippensburg, PA; Wayzata/Minneapolis, MN).
  • Majority of the work week will be in-office with potential flexibility for hybrid arrangements depending on location and role.
  • Travel approximately 10% or less.
